Hi,
I'm looking at upgrading my gtx 650 gpu to Gtx 760 4gb oc, I've 2 problems.
1. I'm not sure if my Thermaltake 500nl2l 500w power supply is up to the job.
2. My Z87m g43 mb has only one pcie 3 slot and one pcie 2 slot problem is if I use the pcie3 the gpu will cover the little pcie2 slot I need for my FireWire card which also requires a 4 pin power connector.

So will the gtx 760 be ok below the FireWire card in a pcie2 slot and is my power supply gonna handle it?
Thanks

The PSU is questionable. TT does not make the best PSUs around. I would not OC this system using the current PSU.

Put the GPU into the primary PCIe x16 slot (one nearest the CPU). You can move the firewire adapter to the other PCIe x16 slot (PCIe is backward compatible, you can install x16, x8, x4, x2, and x1 devices into a x16 slot).

Thanks for the quick responses, colgeek the pcie slot the FireWire card goes in is only a really small slot not like the slot for the gpu, will the fw card go in the larger slot?
Also can you guys suggest a better psu preferably not to pricey.
Thanks so much for the help
