So, I have a question. Currently my GPU is in the second PCI slot. Does this matter? Would I get more proformance and cooling if it was in the top slot? I have looked at the manual but it's a bit unclear. It shows that all slots are pci 16x

My specs:
Strix B450-f Mobo
Strix RTX 2080 GPU
AMD Ryzen 7 2800k

The manual isn't real clear what happens if the first slot is empty, but second filled (as previously mentioned sometimes the second slot is only wired for x4). You can download GPU-Z and it will show you what your PCIe configuration is. If it's PCIe 3.0 x4 then it might be worth switching to the first slot, but if it's x8 or x16 then don't worry about it.

Typically, you should install your GPU in the slot closest to the CPU. That is often the only one that is a full x16 slot on many motherboards.

See page 1-8 of your manual for more info:

So I changed the slot, and now the LED glow that's inside the fans are just breathing red and aura sync doesn't change them even though the card shows up. Could the red breathing be an error code of some kind?
