I own a ASUS Z170-A LGA 1151 Intel Z170 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard. What are the best slots to put my DDR4 Trident z 3200 Mhz RAM in?

How many sticks do you have? Most likely, it will have two different colors. Put the two sticks in the same color.

So it should go like this: 0101...0 could be white, and 1 could be black. Put the sticks in both zero slots. Hope that makes sense.

There is a manual for a reason.For most mother board it will be the closest to cpu socket and the one after that,with a gap in the centre(Same colour ram socket)

Slots 1 and 3. That is the slot closest to your CPU and then you skip one slot before you install the other module.

You took the words out of my head. I was going to offer that advice and then saw all Asus has for that board's page is a quickstart manual. LAZY!
