Which sound card should I buy?

I've recently purchased http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0042A8CW2/?tag=pcpapi-20 and my current motherboard is http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z77%20Extreme4/ . Which sound card should I get to have great quality sound for my headphones or w.e speakers as well? This is for music and gaming.

Your onboard sound should be fine to use with those headphones. But it would be better to get an amplifier rather than a sound card so you can use the headphones on other devices.

in your case we have a lot of cards budgets:50-100usd:creative sound blaster z
100--150:sound blaster zx
200-300:sound blaster zxr
200:asus xonar essence esp
personnaly i would get the conar essence esp for the quality or the zxr for the tools that come with it (if u want to control the sound from a range)

If you have a nice mobo the onboard sound will be pretty much just as good as any sound card you can find
