Im currently looking to upgrade to a better Audio system for my computer.. Ive been looking at the following 3 (Im on a tight bidget) The Monsoon MH-505 I heard were very good for sound quality, the Logitech z-560's I heard were also very good, but i was a little worried when I found out it was only 4.1, I play mostly games, so would this matter?? And Finally Either the Creative Inspire 5300 or the 6600( there so cheap that i cant expect them to be very good even though ive heard different!). Any of these I can get, but which do you think would be better for a gamer? The major question is, does having 5.1 to 4.1 make much difference in games? Thanks!

First of all, do you have a store anywhere close to you with any of these on display? Speakers can be something that you have to hear in order to know which ones you like.

Yes, there are stores around me, BUT they do not have the monsoons Ive heard the z-560's and i like them better than the inspires, but... there werent any games or anything to test if the center channel made much difference during gaming, all they had was corny music.. So really it all comes down to this... Is 5.1 better for gaming, does it really make a difference, i mean.. its just a center channel, right? So with that in mind, If it doesnt make a difference, i will probably buy the z-560's, then if it does make a difference and it's better (Do any games really use the center channel much) its down to the Monsoons or the 6600's, in which case ill probably get the monsoons. So, I guess what im asking but have somehow drawn it out into a long, hard to follow story/question.. is.. does 5.1 benefit gaming, or is it only for movies?.. thanks..
