Which Speakers??

I just have a question for a bud's system. I have Cambidge Soundworks DD set...very nice. he needs a pair of cheap speakers that still sound good. Any ideas?

A budget figure would be nice but you can't go wrong with the Altec Lansing 2100s or the Labtec Surge 17s.
