Hey,
I’m an old lady who, way back in the days of DOS, would periodically update my computer. Things were much easier then. I’m ok with replacing or adding obvious things, but can’t figure this one out.
I play a lot of games, and thought to get an SSD to store them on.
I purchased a NVMe, but now I’m not sure if that was the right thing.
My question is, do both NVMe and SATA SSD’s fit in all computers? Or do you have to know which one your motherboard accepts?
I opened the case, but could not find anything that would accept the NVMe SSD. I know I’m old and probably blind, but I don’t even know where to look.
I’ve read a lot of stuff and some people said it could be hiding somewhere behind something, but what??
Computer is about 5 years old, and has some minor upgrades.
