Question Which ssd is compatible with my motherboard?.

Hey, I'm looking to buy an SSD to add to my desktop PC but I am not sure which one would be the best for my setup and I have a budget of 300 aud and recommendations would be helpful.
Edit:do I need a host card my motherboard does have one.
The specs as follows
GTX 1080ti 11 GB
I7-7700k
B250 gaming motherboard
16 GB ram
3 tb of HDD storage

if looking for SATA III 2.5" SSD, any should work fine with a LGA 1151 board like this.

for M.2 drive compatibility you will need to supply the exact make & model of motherboard, there are very many old B250 "gaming" boards out there.

but you shouldn't even need to ask here.
just go to the motherboard manufacturer's product site and read the Tech Specs there
or just read the included manual.
