I am planning to buy 1TB ssd. Samsung 860 QVO is in my list right now. Is it worth of buying this or are there better Ssd’s in the same price range?

Solution
But what about intel 660p compared to mx500?
The 660p is an NVMe. Benchmarks significantly faster. 3x for the Sequential number, which is what everyone quotes.
If it is a comparable price in your market, that is an excellent choice if your motherboard has the relevant M.2 port.
I have one.

However...in actual use, you almost certainly won't see "3x the speed".
But is it faster.
860 EVO, MX500, Crucial P1, Intel 660p...all good choices.

Usage, what other drives are in the system, budget, other parts in the system, etc, etc.

The 860 EVO is much preferred over the QVO.
Crucial MX500 is another good choice.
Ok, I also thought about this crucial MX500. Which to you recommend MX500 or QVO or something different?
Mobo - asus z390
CPU - i7 7900

With your motherboard and price range it would come down to one of these 4:

I personally would use the Intel 660p. The 660p and P1 are both NVMe SSD which is the faster interface and will be faster than any SATA SSD. The WD Blue and Crucial MX500 are both very good SATA SSDs but are limited to the SATA bus.
