Which storage set up should I use?

In both set ups I have my 256 gb samsung pro 850

But in one I have a WD BLACK 1 TB 7200 RPM for games
And a single 3TB red wd hdd for movies and pictures and other large non-gaming files

In the other I would just have a single 4 TB 7200 RPM and the SSD

So which one should I go with?
which one would save me on time with defragging?
Which would create "better" performance?
money isn't a problem
NOTE: I HAVE NOT BOUGHT ANY OF THESE THINGS BESIDES THE SSD AND THE SSD IS IN MY SYSTEM WITH WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 64-BIT AND ACOUPLE OF MY MOST PLAYED AND FAVORITE GAMES, WITH SOME ANTI-ANYTHING BAD PROGRAMS(AABP)

Solution

You can set the built in Windows defrag to do it on whatever schedule you want.
And it does not have to happen every day. Once a week at most.
SSD for the OS and applications.

In either system (SSD for OS and applications), and either a WD Black 1TB and 3TB RED, or a single 4TB Red....makes no difference.
You're worried about defrag time? That happens between 2AM and 5AM, when you are asleep. It doesn't matter how long it takes...:)

so hdd automatically defrag at 2-5am? do i have to pay for that or is it free with the defraggler thing?

Just buy both HDDs if money is no problem. That way you can have only game files on one and only media files on the other. And if anything ever goes wrong with one you don't have to loose everything.
