Hello Tom's Hardware community <3!

I'm building a new skylake rig around i7 6700k on a MSI Gaming Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION

My case is going to be: Phanteks Eclipse Series PH-EC416PSW_WT Glacier White Steel ATX Mid Tower

So I really like the swifttech coolers because of the nice customizable LEDs with the LEDs also in the water block. Plus I heard they cool great.

My question for you guys is :

Which Cooler from them is best on their site they have so many I really am not concerned too much about the cost the differences are minor. But they have H220 X2 Prestige - H320 X2 Prestige and then within those there are different combinations of fan sizes and amounts.

This is my first kit like this so I really don't know what to do. Which is best for my build?

Advise would be amazing thanks guys.

I don't know so much about the new models that came out, but I had an H240-X which worked fantastically... for 3 months. After 3 months the pump died, and there had been other accounts of this happening too, but I didn't heed their warning. That's my insiders tid-bit on Swiftech AIO coolers.

However, in your case (no pun intended), I'd go for something with 2 140mm fans because they can move more air at lower fan speeds, thus being much quieter.

That is a little scary, I really love the way these look and I hope it's an ok thing to buy.

2 140mm fans got it.

I'm going to do some searching on the pump issue you stated, in the mean time any other cooler you'd recommend instead? I really would like something with the LEDs that let you change color I also love that these have nice clear tubes.

I just went straight to a custom loop after that XD I have heard the H100 and the H110 from corsair are pretty sturdy. My friend has an AIO from Deepcool that works really well. It's hard to go wrong with AIO you just have to do your research and play your cards right so to speak. The ones I mentioned before are good though.

I have a 2 month old h240 X2 prestige and the pwm controller has started having problems where it randomly revs the fans up and down. Still waiting on thier customer service dept to email me back. Also the red dye they come with sucks, looked great for about a week now it looks light purple. At this time Id have a hard reccomending one for how much they cost.

Really upsetting to hear about all the problems with these.

Better to have heard about it now from other experiences than bought it and found out yourself
