Which system to choose

I'm looking for a budget pc and i can't decide on my CPU GPU combo. For my budget i was thinking of chosing either i3 6100+Asus strix 750 ti or g3258+asus gtx 950. Also i was thinking on overclocking the pentium cpu.

The Pentium is a beast for overclocking so I'd go for the Pentium and GTX950 combo. You will be able to push the clock speeds pretty high on the Pentium depending on your cooling scenario.

950 and 750ti are almost the same in terms of performance.
The i3 option is a bit better.
can't you wait for RX 470/460 or gtx 1050 ? they will be in the same price range and will provide better performance

The GTX 950 can get a few more FPS and at that budget, a few FPS more is quite a lot. If you overclock the Pentium it should perform faster than the i3 but that all depends on whether you win the silicone lottery or not and whether your actually confident with overclocking. Also, if your going to use the stock cooler then you won't be able to push the Pentium to its true potential anyway so then I'd choose the i3. Either way, both configuartions aren't going to be maxing out games at 1080p and possibly not even 720p.
