I am faced with a decision between two systems. I am mainly looking to play games like ArmA 3, BF1, Titanfall 2, Squad, and to do some moderate content creation such as photoshop and editing/rendering 1080p videos in Sony vegas 13.
The two systems I am looking to purchase will cost around the same and are both good choices. For my usage case, I wonder if the tradeoff of CPU power in system two is worth it because of the improvement in GPU power.
System 1:
i7 4790(non k)
EVGA GTX 970 SSC
16GB DDR3 1600Mhz
System 2:
i5 6400
Gigabyte Mini GTX 1060 3GB
16GB DDR4 3000Mhz
Both systems have the same PSU, HDD space, and the case doesn't really matter to me. I just want to know which would preform better for myself int the circumstances I said above.
