Which system would you choose.

A friend of mine has a choice between 2 systems which one would you choose. Mainly use is for games, handbrake, Adobe products and just general media. He has a 1080p 75hz monitor, but wants the pc to last 2 years.

System 1 - Intel i7 4790, 16 gb ram, GTX 1070, SSD

System 2 - Amd Ryzen 1700x, b350 motherboard and a GTX 1050ti

the first intel system is a dead slot. there no upgrading it. it does have a good gaming video card. the amd rig with a bios update can take newer cpu if he lucky the mb last for upgrades into 2020. with the newer nvidia gpu dropping if i got the second rig i make sure i had some funds left over to pick up the newer gpu when the drop latter on this year.
