Which technology HP KB-9970 keyboard uses?

Hello,

Anyone knows which technology Hewllet Packard KB-9970 keyboard uses?

My university has this keyboards on some computers and has tall, relatively light and noisy keys. I think this is particular of mechanical keyboards (please be tolerant if I wrong, I have not used a mechanical keyboard yet, is what I hear). Is this keyboard uses this technology or which technology uses?

I answer my self. The keyboard is not mechanical, but with membrane technology.
