Question Which to buy? Viewsonic XG240R vs Acer XF240H?

In dire need of help choosing between these two monitors, my current Acer Predator xb241h is dying and I've only had it two years and a new monitor is needed, however with the introduction of Nvidia Freesync compatibility I don't wish to fork out another £370-£400 on another predator, I've read that freesync is as good as g-sync motion wise and there's no real difference, I aim to play at 144hz with my RTX 2060, can anyone help? I have no real problem calibrating my monitor if the default settings aren't up to scratch, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well, the XF240H Bmjdpr is G-sync compatible. Reportedly only about 5% make the grade, so I would lean toward that one, especially since you have a GTX 2060.

The Viewsonic does have slightly higher reviews at Amazon, however, and appears to unofficially work with G-sync.

Of those that were validated, 58% offer refresh rates of up to 144Hz, though 76% do so only at 1920x1080. For a superior experience at higher resolutions and refresh rates, consider G-SYNC and G-SYNC ULTIMATE gaming monitors.
