Question Which to Install for Canon Printer?

Hi,

I have this printer:

There's 3 Drivers linked above, which ones do I install to keep it light no bloat?


Lastly the following Canon apps are available for this printer:

- Wi-Fi Connection Assistant - do I need this to use this printer wirelessly or connect it to my wi-fi network?

- IJ Printer Assistant Tool

- IJ Scan Utility

- Canon Inkjet Smart Connect

Again from the 4 above which ones do I install to keep it light without the unnecessary bloat? Or is there like 1 app from the list above that does all?


Finally there's 3 apps available for the Android phone:

- Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY

- Canon Print Service

- Mopria

Which 1 out of the 3 is the best?

As for the method of installing, make sure you install the driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Okay does the version 1.3 include the security patch ver 1.02 shown in the link above?

What happens if I do not Run as Administrator?
