Which to Upgrade First

Happy Friday everybody,

In my current rig I have:

Intel i5 4670
MSI GTX 770
16GB RAM
Windows 10
Samsung 128GB SSD
WD 1TB HDD
700W PSU

Anyways, I was wondering whether or not to upgrade my GPU or CPU first. I want to start playing new PC games, especially Fallout 4, which looks to have hard requirements for playing. I want to be able to play Fallout 4 with very high settings. Will I be fine with the current rig? or should I upgrade the 770 or 4670 for better gaming. The Fallout 4 recommended hardware is:

Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent
8 GB RAM
30 GB free HDD space
NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent

If I should upgrade, what to?

All input is appreciated. Thank you!

To get a real upgrade it'll be expensive, the GTX770 is still a capable card at 1080 rez, here's how it compares to other cards http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/gaming-graphics-card-review,review-32899-7.html and also here are some numbers: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/MSI/GTX_970_Gaming/14.html
To get a real boost in frame rate you'll need to be up into GTX980 or well overclocked GTX970 territory at least.

No way to tell how Fallout4 would use an i7s extra 4 threads over the already fast i5 you have but few games really benefit from those extra threads so it's likely to be a fairly expensive upgrade for a small overall gain.

Me, I'd wait and see, you have nothing at all to lose and everything to gain-even if you DO decide on an...

My advice: Be patient, see how Fallout4 performs in the tech site reviews and your own system THEN decide which, if any, parts you should upgrade .

You should wait, your machine is pretty good for 1080p, I believe what say fallout 4 is the first game that will utilize more core, just wait even if you change from your hardware that you are looking you won't notice too much increase just a few. You should wait more for been ddr 4 less expensive, and move away all your pc component as memory, socket, mobo and all that stuff. If you change your cpu you will increase a few fps, but if you change your video card you will get more fps with higher setting or ultra one.
From my point of view for video card I wait until pascal been release as for cpu I wait more that ddr4 is less expensive. Fallout 4 isn't going to destroy your machine, even so if they release wait usually games and driver are not optimize when they are release. When is been release compare at youtube will be bunch of video you will notice that the difference it won't be huge so better save the money for a bigger upgrade.
