Which type of laptop overheats quicker/more:

• 
  Laptops with a fan at the bottom of it
  Laptops with a fan on left hand side or right hand side

Hello,

The hot air exhaust is always done at the sides (left, right, back), and the air intake is situated beneath (some laptops take the fresh air through the keyboard) .

If you prefer to use the laptop in bed, buy a laptop without air intake beneath (it will be obstructed anyway, unless you use a cooling pad).
