Which type of VGA active adapter would result in the least amount of input lag?

My new video card (GTX 1050) doesn't support VGA. Unfortunately, it's also not really powerful enough to run games at 1080p60 and I don't want to go through the trouble of upgrading my GPU/PSU. I bought a second monitor at 1080p for games that are less demanding, but I would like to keep my 720p monitor and run it with an active adapter for games that are more demanding, which brings me to my question:

which type of active adapter (VGA - > DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D) would result in the lowest latency from conversion?

Solution
it won't matter which connection you use. what will matter is the adapter itself. if you but one for $3 it most likely won't be very good and would introduce latency and such. get an adapter that plugs in or uses a usb port for extra power. this will make sure the adapter is decent and not cause issues. you don't need a $75 adapter but somewhere between $15-20 should buy a quality one. avoid the cheap Chinese $3 ones for sure
