Which upgrade is more important?

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC and I currently only have enough money to buy either a GPU upgrade or a CPU upgrade.

Current CPU: Pentium G3258 OCed 4.4 GHz
Possible Upgrade: i5 4590, i5 4460, or similar

Current GPU: GTX 750Ti
Possible Upgrade: GTX 960, 1060, or similar

I don't have a good idea of which is more important to upgrade at the moment because I know that the graphics card has a bigger impact in intense games, but the 2 cores of the Pentium can't even run some games to begin with. So which would be a better upgrade right now?

(Keep in mind that I could possible get the other upgrade within the coming months, as long as it's around the same price range. So don't think of it as I'm only able to get 1 upgrade for a long long time)

Also if you need further clarification or information on any subject regarding this, just message and I'll get back when I can.

Thanks in advance for the advice! - Christian

I would take the processor upgrade first. While its not the largest impact on FPS it will vastly improve the system for later use.

Do you think the i5 4590 mentioned would be a good upgrade for the future?

^^^Seconded

Will get you running all games at least (if you've run into some that the two threads keep you from doing that), and GPU prices for the newer series should have stabilized more by then too.....
