So I've a i5 9400f, GTX 1660 OC (Almost getting TI performance) , 16 gigs of ram, EVGA BQ 650w and Deepcool matrexx v55 mesh, what should I upgrade next ?

Solution
I would suggest a larger capacity SSD. 120gb is really not enough these days, as you do not want to run an SSD near max capacity. I would run one, just for games storage.

It's a pretty well balanced system. Do you feel it lacking?

What's your OS & games storage situation?

Beyond maybe improving system with or larger SSD's if using HDD's, there's not much else besides a processor upgrade ie, (9700/9700k~9900/9900k).

Maybe a higher Hz monitor with Freesync/Gsync?

Wouldn't bother upgrading to a more powerful graphics card unless, A; use a higher resolution monitor or B; upgrade cpu first. Currently, any i5 (pre 10th series) suffers too high cpu usage trying to achieve higher frame rates. Sorry to be blunt.

If really want to sink some coin for the future, go for a z490 and 10600K/10700k, a processor with Hyperthreading. Intel have moved away from HT'less cpus and for good reason (about time).
