Which Upgrades first?

Bought this Dell XPS Special Edition

Reason I went with this over digital storm vanquish is I got the 1,300 XPS for 950.

I mainly will use it to edit and render videos, occassionaly play games or stream. I want to upgrade the RAM and add on an SDD also. What else should I upgrade eventually, graphics card?

SSD would be my first upgrade, would make the overall experience faster. Also, if you're a light gamer, 750 Ti is a fine card for that, you may need to upgrade PSU for GPU upgrade, not sure if it comes with anything higher than 350W.

Samsung EVO is a great value for the price. And, a 550W XFX Pro can accomodate a GTX 970 or 980.

an SSD will be the biggest improvement first. If the video rendering uses lots of memory, upgrade that next.

Upgrade the PSU if/when you upgrade the graphics card. The factory PSU on the 8700 is rated at 460 watt, has PCI 12v connectors for graphics card, but the specs on the PSU are not as good as a solid aftermarket 450 watt PSU.

I put a seasonic X-650 80 plus Gold in, and it was a sung fit, but it does fit. Quieter than the OEM PSU also. Several good vendors have PSUs that fit the 8700.
