which video card is better

i want to buy a gpu which gpu should i buy to play bf4 ultra with 70-80 fps and other next-gen games at ultra settings i am using a 720p monitor which is better between r9 280x or hd 7970 my budget is $350

MY Specs :
FX 8320 @4.2 GHZ.
8 GB DDR3 1600 MHZ. Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.
ASRock 970 Extreme3 ATX AM3+.

280x and 7970 are basically the same card. 7970 is usually clocked a small amount higher. Get which ever is cheaper.

You can even crossfire a 280x to a 7970.

The r9 280x is faster than a normal HD 7970 and it is around the same performance with a HD 7970 GHz edition and the r9 280x has a bit newer technology. It depends on how much both cards cost where you live.
