Which way do the power_sw and reset_sw go in?

Most resources say that the colored cord is power, but these cords are all black!

Which one is the power and which is the ground? How do I tell? Should I just try it each way and see what works?

case is spec 02 redshift and motherboard is z170 e

Power switch basicly just shorts the two pins, so it can go any direction. Same with the reset sw.
Just put them in any orientation.

Doesn't matter , the 2 wires act as a short ,nothing more.

As long as you don't mix reset & power wires together you can't do it wrong.

Far as I beleive but I may be corrected on this all the things like that apart from the HDD/Power LEDs can be plugged in either direction without issue as it doesn't matter which way power flows through the switch on your case.

However if you look closely at them you may be able to spot small black triangle moulded into the plastic and as far as I know that is what is considdered the postitive side of the plug
