Hello all,
Recently I've started making YouTube videos and I realize that they take up a lot of space, so I have partitions my WD Blue 1TB hard drive to give 400GB of space for my videos. Hopefully soon I'll be more frequently posting videos and I'll need more space than what I have available. What I had wanted to do was buy a ~250GB SSD for my games, OS, and some programs, and use my 1TB drive for recording only. Another thought was keep my Windows on my current drive and just buy another 1TB hard drive for my recording. I realize buying an SSD is much more expensive, but besides that, what's my best choice? Any help/opinions are appreciated :)

Thanks,
Michael

If storage capacity and costs are the major concerns you might want to buy a larger HDD to store your video files. However, if you ever do use an SSD for a boot drive you may never want to go back to an HDD for your boot drive. There is an appreciable difference with load times. Either way you go make sure you back up everything of importance to you and, if you haven't already, create a backup plan and stick to it.
