Which way should the PSU go in?

I have a PC case (HAF 912) with a vent in the bottom where the power supply goes. Should I install the PSU with the fan facing up or down into the vent? BTW: My PSU is the Corsair CX600

Doesn't matter really. Generally, it is mounted face down so it gets fresh air and does not affect the airflow in the case.

Install it face down so it can take in fresh air to cool its inner components, with it facing up sucking air from the case it will suck in hot air from inside the case and that could potentially lead to excess heat. which can potentially reduce the lifespan of the supply greatly.

With it facing in the natural airflow of the case is also disrupted.

Face down, no question.

Bottom mount - fan down. Let the PSU fan take care of the PSU. All other cooling will take care of the rest of the components.

Also, you can't accidentally drop a screw in it.
