The case has 2 120mm fans in the front blowing into the case.
The top intake fan has no obstruction.
The lower intake fan is blowing through a 3x3.5" bay with 2 HDD's installed.
In the rear there is a 120mm fan blowing out and up, and one on the back side of the case blowing out.
These 4 fans are cooler master s12 silent fans, all 120mm.
I have a fifth fan that I want to install in the bottom, but I am not sure which direction it should blow.
There are 2 HDD's installed in that lower bay, also a 3x3.5" bay.
There is a significant heat problem with these drives when I have the PC on for a sustained time. Even if they are idle I am getting 45+ degree C readings from SpeedFan with these 2 lower drives.
I am guessing that the fan needs to blow away from this lower HD bay, and in the direction of the power supply.
But I just want to make sure.
This fifth fan is a different type, Antec TriCool. A bonus question: With this fan being in the lower area, should it be set to Low, Med, or High?
Thank you.
