Which windows i should choose when getting new cpu? Windows 7 or 8

i have i5-4460 @ 3.2ghz with Kingston HyperX Savage 16gb @ 2400mhz and im wondering which windows i should choose?

Go with Windows 8.1, I personally am using Windows 10 Preview which is essentially a better version of 8 and is looking to be very good.

I will go with the windows 8 as i doubt windows 7 won't be supporting directx 12

Wait for Windows 10... It's coming out later this month. If you really can't wait, get 8 and upgrade to 8.1.

well i am going to do most gaming and Music production on it that concernes me alot
Otherwise i have Windows 7 Pro key so i could install even more RAM in future etc.

Most games that i have don't support DirectX 12 and im going to run with Intel HD4600 for a while until i get AMD gpu.

If you have already purchased both of them you might try dual-booting your computer and see which one that works the best.
