the lg has a 5ms response time which is the worst among the three
both the gateway and LG dont have speakers thats something to keep in mind if you dont have a separate speaker setup
i vave heard that there are alot of those ASUS monitors u mentioned develop dead pixels pretty quickly, or arrive with them, although this shouldnt be something that writes off the asus you should still keep this in mind
the asus is the only one with display port so if your into triple monitor setups this should be something to consider
the gateway seems to have a flimsy stand which wobbles etc. other than that the reviews for it are great
the gateway claims it has the highest contrast ratio with 12M to 1 but sometimes these numbers are exaggerated.....
on paper the Gateway seems to be the best with the 12m contrast ratio but i have never dealt with the gateway brand before so im not sure what theyre like ...if your comfortable with it then get the gateway but the asus is just as good

when i get a new monitor i will have a two monitor setup and i will have a tv connected in the displayport slot so i wont need a monitor with one.
