Is getting a Gold PSU worth the extra $30 or will the bronze be sufficient enough? If you have other suggestions feel free to add them I'm open to all help regarding this new build

good news is they are both good.
the bronze is based on an older platform but it is tried and true and MAY not support every power function of the motherboard. sleep states and such.
the gold is more efficient and has a longer warranty 10 years vs the 5 for the bronze unit.

divide the price by the warranty and you see the bronze is about 14 bucks a year, and the gold is 10 bucks a year for the warranty.
more efficient and cheaper to boot (over the long haul) get the gold
