Which x299 motherboard should I buy

I have my eye on the asus strix x299-e motherboard and the asus prime x299 deluxe. My question is, is it worth spending an extra £100 on the deluxe motherboard? I am in two minds about this since on one hand, I am already spending £2000 for a good system so I might as well spend £100 more for better features, but on the other hand, I do not want to just waste £100 if it is not worth it and doesn't add anything significant to the table.

By the way, my specs are

evga 1080ti hybrid
corsair dominator platinum 2666mhz 32gb ram
nzxt kraken x52 cpu cooler
evga supernova g3 1000w PSU
960 evo Samsung m.2 ssd

I need at least 2x internal USB2.0 and 3x internal USB3.0 for the system and onboard wifi

Why not go the ryzen route

Get a 1700 (x) or 1800x and save a fortune. The extra money just isnt worth spending

Firstly, I have already bought all those parts except the CPU, motherboard and GPU and with a strix x299-e and 7820x, it all fits under £2000 (since I managed to get good deals on the other parts)
Secondly, the AMD ryzen platform is still ripe and may still have some problems (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-3434976/core-cpu.html) so I prefer to go with intel since even though they messed the platform up this time round, it is not to say their CPUs are bad.
Thirdly, the video shows that the cpus are worse than the AMD alternatives, but that is just for that group of benchmarks. For other benchmarks, it shows the new intel CPUs as very good (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOIEJKimUMk).

Please answer the question about the motherboards.

The X299 OC Formula would be the ultimate mobo for me... but this if your really into overclocking

Let's just say that the 7820x is better than a Ryzen 1700, for argument's sake. It still isn't £300 better. Ryzen has improved a good deal since launch. The 7820x is hotter and more power hungry.
