Hi there.

Just looking for some advice for a gaming system.

If I'd paid £300 for the system below, could i drop in a PowerColor AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB Red Devil Graphics Card (£295) and everything work fine or would I have to alter anything??
Would it be worth adding an sad drive for game start-up etc?

Operating System - Windows 10 Pro
System Type - x64 Based
Manufacturer - Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd
Processor - AMD A8 7650k Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores, 3300mhz
Hard Drive - 1TB
System Memory - 16gb
Memory Type - DDR3
Core Clock - 720mhz

Many thanks in advance

Solution
Any motherboard that supports the A8 processors also supports PCIe 3.0 graphics cards, so yes, it SHOULD have no issues supporting that card so long as there is a capable enough power supply. Having a quality power supply is probably, literally, the most important relevant issue as to whether this makes sense or not and if that's a prebuilt system there's a high probability that it has a low end, low quality power supply.

Next question is it worth it?😉

£300 for the system £250 for the you and let's say the psi IS a problem, another £70 for a power supply.

Or with £600 could a better system be built?

Cheers
