I have a chance to get an asrock 990FX extreme4 (sata ports 7 and 8 don't work. only thing wrong with it or an asus M5A99FX evo. which should I buy? buying off of ebay just would like to know what my better option is for my 8350. getting either one for 60 bucks and its a quik improvement for my system. Thank you guys

I would think I'd want the Mobo with the least or no issues, so I'd vote for the Asus in this case (assuming similar price).

sam exact price. maybe 2 dollars more. Thanks for the respond (I was thinking the same but I also have heard real good things bout the extreme4 and its stability.)

Extreme 4 is a good Mobo, but if it already has issues I would shy away from it.

yea I was thinking if 1 set of the sata's went bad already then most likely the rest wont be far behind them and who knows what else would go wrong with it.
