Question While downloading games my download speed is slow with 900mbps wifi

To clarify I know the difference between Megabits and Megabytes
but basically doing a speed test on speedtest.net my download speeds always show above 900mbps which is normal however when installing anything the download speeds will be around 15-30MB/s which I've seen it go up to 100MB/s before but will decrease allot, I am using ethernet as well a, CAT 7 cable to be exact. Im on windows 11 if that matters, If anyone knows a solution please let me know.
Edit: experimented a bit and the download speed starts off fine at the 100MB/s id expect but slowly drops to around 15-30MB/s for the rest of the download.

downloading from nearly anywhere, epic games, steam, battlenet, etc

Speed test is actually a down load that is not kept. Do other browser based downloads say from Microsoft work.
Game downloader run nom browser methods. Look for any software that might limit them. So called gamer priority software tends to be the worst offender
