Now while playing games like suppose GTA V , its all going perfect well when suddenly the character keeps going left or right or forward even after I release the key. it goes back to normal only after I hit some other movement key or sometimes on its own.
Its not just WASD, it also happens if I set the movement keys to arrows. the laptop is only a month old so I don't think the keyboard is too dirty. And I don't have any problem with the keyboard except this. while typing this never happens. Its only while gaming and that too with movement keys.
I also encounter this problem with mostly all other games I play on this laptop like The Crew, Assassins creed, Counter strike ,Watch Dogs.
please note that this problem occurs with both WASD and ARROW keys.
Any help will be highly appreciated

As far as for drivers, I don't think I installed anything for the keyboard, maybe for the FN key(brightness, volume, etc). but that was from the official website or windows update.

Yes! they are. ive checked on Geforce Experience and all the windows updates were also installed just a few hours ago.

It will take some time for me to get back home and test my keyboard. I'm out for the holidays.
Anything else I can do?

What is the CPU and GPU temperature when this is happening? Do you have a FPS counter to see if you're dipping/lagging at those moments?

Also, check for any of HP famous bloat-ware installed that may be getting in the way. Be on the look out (to disable) any keyboard or gaming 'utilities' from HP.

I Always have FPS counter running when I game. I optimized every game to run around 30 fps the minimum I allow them to go is 20fps so there are no drops in fps. this does sound an issue of delayed inputbut I don't think that is the problem but it also happens with cs 1.6 which runs on a constant 60 fps.
Also this laptop came with FreeDos so there is no bloatware as far as I know.
