While installing program getting error "object already exist"??

I have been looking all around for some help I do not know if it is a virus or what but when i try to download a new program i get a "Object already exist" error. If anyone knows please help me. I am running windows 7 Pro.

This simply means that the directory that you want the program to go to already exists. So when going through the installer of the program change where the file goes.

I have tried that. I have tried it many times I have also deleted the old program and tried again all I have gotten is the error for anything that i happen to download

Anything that I have tried to install.. One being software for a Elgato capture card, another being an update for adobe.

Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2918614)

Uninstall this update, hide it, reboot and....problem fixed. Now try to re-install your software. I had the same problem with Java and some other programs. Got this fix from another site with people who had the same problems.
