Hi all,
While my PC is turned on, all of my internet (including other Ethernet devices (but the pc speed is normal)) slows down. I have no Idea why this is happening. (I have tried going into activity monitor to see if there was a lot network activity but there's not) if anyone could help me that would be great.

Thanks,
Tate.

EDIT: just some clarification, the problem is when I connect via ethernet. Computer is custom built and doesn't have a hardware number but the motherboard on it is an MSI H81M-P33 V2 And the router is a NETGEAR D6300

How many other Ethernet devices are on your network? Have you checked for any IP address conflicts?

Have you tried another known working ethernet cable?

Are you using the motherboard's ethernet port or a third party card? Or even a USB/Ethernet adapter? Try swapping components and see if that makes a difference.
