White and green lines when computer crashes

When ever my computer seems to crash or freeze my screens go green or white with vertical stripes and I have no clue what the cause is. I think maybe it could be my card over heating as its extremely hot on the days my computer seems to crash or its if I have been using my computer playing games all day.

It doesn't give any reason for why my computer crashed. Theres not even a recording of the event of it crashing. The only error is that I force shutdown my computer, which I did when the lines occured.

Critical events are just windows, Xbox one SmartGlass, Photos.

I had nothing open at all when it crashed like that this morning.
