Question White Blinking Underscore

Before you read: I am sorry if this problem is in the wrong thread. I have nearly no knowledge about PC's so I have no clue if this is about a motherboard.

Hello, I am having a problem with my PC, whenever it boots up, it eventually shows a blinking white underscore. I have tried to find a solution to fixing it, but to no avail.

I have tried doing safe mode, but it doesn't come up.
I am not willing the reset the BIOS because, like I said earlier, I know next to nothing about PC's

P.S - If you happen to wonder why I am using a TV to show the error, it is because my monitor kept going into power save mode.

full system spec? include make and model of the psu

The white underscore indicates the machine was looking for the operating system and was not able to load it up. You may have a bad hard drive.

Or the bios may point to a wrong drive or the boot info on the disk may have been messed up.

Putting in the installation media will allow you to get into recovery and try the boot fix .
You will have to run this several times until the automated script picks up on everything.
