Hey guys so I have a ASUS ROG SWIFT 27 inch monitor which I purchased 4.5 years ago. I started seeing white blotches on the bottom right of my monitor. They are mostly visible on a gray screen. I also sometimes see faint window browser images inside video games in that bottom right corner where those white spots are. What are they and is it even worth fixing them or just replace the Monitor? .

Here is the image of it

Thanks

With the age that it is and it showing some ghosting of window browser images it's likely starting to experience screen burn-in. Most LCD monitors aren't supposed to be very prone to it but it can happen over time. Might be time to consider a new one.

There's no way to fix that right? No easy fix for it? I know it's kinda not the best monitor anymore.. It used to be great back in the day but I know it's kinda that time where I should be upgrading to a new one. I'm planning on building a new rig next year anyway and just going HAM with a big OLED, but hoping this one will last me until next year at least.

Yeah, really no easy fix. If it doesn't bug you much, use it till it quits or you replace it first :)
