Question white flash when i turn my PSU on

I have b550 AORUS elite v2 and whisper 650w gold I usually plug the pc into the wall socket first then I turn on my PSU but I see a white flash for a second then the pc works normally is that normal ? i think it is the RGB of the motherboard I'm not sure

Is the flash something new?

If it came from inside the PSU I'd be worried.

Not sure what to make of it if it came from somewhere else, especially if not accompanied by a noise like electrical arcing or a pop sound. It could be white LED's on the motherboard flashing, or the RGB setup you have, but could also be something on the motherboard.

Many motherboards light some LEDS in a sequence while running POST as they boot up. That could be the light you see...check your manual to see if it has them.
