White Guar quest bug?

An Ashlander women asked me to find a white guar. I found it. I came back
and the woman said to follow the white guar. I followed it to a corpse. I
went back, and the woman just keeps saying, "The White Guar must be found."
I found it! What does she want? I went back to a prior save, and both
found and followed the white guar before talking to her. She still keeps
telling me that the white guar must be found. Is this a bug, or am I doing
something wrong?

You have to examine the corpse before you talk to the wise woman again.
Be sure to take the corpse's amulet with you. That will enable you to
conlude this quest.

Head west from the Ahemmusa Camp until you reach a path. Follow that path
to the southwest until you reach a crossroads. You'll find the White Guar
waiting for you next to five rock needles that look like the fingers of
a hand. (this T-crossing is located south of the Daedric Shrine
Kushtashpi.)
