[SOLVED] White horizontal lines on the screen

Hello,

As said, I recently bought a pc and after installing w10 and setting the quality settings this appeared:

I don't know if it's due to the monitor, not having the proper drivers on the grafic card or that the graphic card is defective.

Edit1: It started happening when I switched the resolution from a low one to the highest possible, on the other hand this was with display cable, with hdmi it worked properly but with a low resolution.

What refresh rate do you have it at? I would try a different dp cable. Some only work up to 120hz, even though they are supposed to work up to 144hz.

Monitor is a BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P 24" LED 144Hz e-Sports and the cable i'm using is the one that came with it...

At the moment I cannot try anything because I sent the monitor back since it also had a dead pixel. Once I get a fixed one from the distributor i'll try your recomendation, thanks!
