white light on led the monitor

hi i have a 2 year old philips led monitor, i noticed the other day there was a white line at the bottom of my monitor, i thnk it is the light but i don't really know i have some pictures that you could look at, i was wondering if i can be fixed and hope that it won't get worse look at the bottom where there is blue the is a white horizontal line

Can't really see anything in the pictures. Many IPS/PLS and AVHA monitors are edge-lit rather then with a backlight.

Probably normal.

Sorry, still can't really see anything. In the second picture I see a slight glow, but that is normal for most monitors.

Perhaps if you changed the taskbar color to something other then blue it would be more obvious to the camera. LED monitors are distinctly blue-shifted.

Might be able to track down a little more information with a monitor model. From the image it looks like a fairly middle of the road TN LED backlight model. Philips doesn't make very many IPS displays.
