white line on right edge of display when on fullscreen youtube

I got a new monitor about a week ago (asus rog swift pg279q) and when i went on youtube fullscreen i found a bright white thin line on the edge of the screen. it only appears on full screen and does not appear in games or my desktop. anyone know what to do?

You may need to go into the monitor adjustment options.
Try using the over scan or under scan mode in the setup menu.

Or using the phase shift to move the displayed image to the left or right of the lcd screen.
You can do this through the monitors in built menu and control options.
You should be able to move the screen left or right by one screen pixel at a time to get rid of banding.


That should sort the problem out of a white band down one edge of the screen for you.
Have you used the monitors built in menu to adjust the size, and aspect of the display image?
If not give it a try.
