How my screen suddenly is doing this, im sure its not a signal issue as its there during the monitor boot up, and also i have tried swapping source from HDMI to DVI.

what is causing it ? how likely is it to be fixable? am i out of luck and have to buy a new monitor?

I can do component repair smd soldering and stuff, but i have no idea where to check. Or is the main LCD broken ?

Looks like a display issue from here.
Is there any screen after powering on where this doesn't happen, or is it like constantly there since pressing the power button?
For confirmation you have to test with another monitor probably.

its there all the time, i do have an identical monitor and swapped it in and still thee , and to be absolutely sure, i even used my laptop to output display and its still there.
Edit:
its there all the time, i do have an identical monitor and swapped it in and it was gone , and to be absolutely sure, i even used my laptop to output on the faulty display and its still there.

Looks like a damaged screen.
LCD matrix contacts at borders at the screen (where white line ends).
Try to apply pressure on screen - at endpoints of white lines.

If that doesn't help. then replace the monitor.

Is there a market for damages screen? was planning on selling this thing its pretty much in good condition (exempt for the lcd of course) such a waste to throw it in the dumpster. maybe i can find an lcd?

So that's not a faulty monitor (unless all of them are faulty which is unlikely).
and also i have tried swapping source from HDMI to DVI.
You used different video cables? Need to know a bit more about the setup you are using.

Applying pressure on the sides does no effect, im opening the monitor up, is there anything i should try while im in there?

If its past warranty, then disposing is the best option as repairing the lcd can cost a lot, probably as much as a new unit. You can check out the local used markets to sell it off, but not sure how much you will get for a broken screen.
