White or red LED strip for my build?

Hi guys. I want to add a some lighting to the inside of my case so I can actually see whats going on in there haha. I'm going to try out one of those NZXT 6 foot sleeved LED kits but I don't know if I should go with red or white? Anyone want to tell me what they think would look better for this build? Or if there are better lighting options out there? Thanks for any help, I appreciate it!

If it was my build I'd choose red. With the red accents you have on some of your components and the rest of your interior being black, having red light shine on them will really make them stand out versus white light. Also if you plan on gaming in a darkened room (at night), red light is a more practical option as red light helps to preserve your eyes' night-vision and won't light your entire room up as brightly too. Also if your Corsair CPU cooler supports Corsair LINK you should download the program from their website and change the colour of the corsair logo to red, and through your window it'll look like the logo is lighting up the whole case

The only reason I'd advise against red is if you want everything to match and your keyboard/mouse have white backlighting. If that doesn't bother you, I'd say red light is best!

I personally do not like LEDs in a PC case. They are about as cheesy as LED strips under a car. I have two fans with blue LEDs in them (came with my Zalman Z9 Plus case) and I can barely see them even though they are on the top panel of my case. If I could, I would disable the lights in them. I even disabled the power button LED. If you want something on your PC to light up, get a back lit keyboard.

I don't want something to light up on my PC... I can't stand cases that glow neon blue. I bought the windowed Fractal case because I knew the inside was going to look nice but unless I use a spot light, it's too dark to see anything in there. I'm just looking for a subtle way to get a little light in the case so that the components are visible, but not glowing bright blue like a bug zapper. The LED strips from the pictures I saw look to be very dim so I though it may work well without being overpowering. Plus there are 3 brightness levels so I thought low would be perfect to just barely shine some light in there.

My favorite part about the whole system is by far the Fractal R4... Best case I've ever owned haha!
