white pixel... brand new monitor

Just bought a Asus vs28ah-p from Newegg and it came in the mail with a hole in the box and a dead Or stuck pixel. Newegg said 1 pixel didn't warrant an exchange... What are my options? Live with it? Or would Asus honor a return? What do guys think?

What I did 7 years ago with a laptop with only 1 dead pixel?
I returned it to the shop without any explanation, you can simply say you made a mistake by buying the wrong laptop.
Well..you have 2 week return rights if you shop online in Germany but many local stores do it too to attract customers.
I bought it by branch A, I saw dead pixel after I open it at home.
I went back to the branch A, I tried to return that sh*t only 5 hours later on the same day, and complained about the dead pixel but they said I can not RMA it for that reason, I have to live with it.
I went then to branch B and gave that thing back for refund simply by saying, I made a mistake and I bought the wrong laptop...and they had to accept it due to the 2 weeks return period.
Gave that sh*t back and bought another one.
the second laptop is ok and still alive and kicking until today.

I do not know how you deal with this kind of problems in US. Try contact ASUS and I hope you the best.
