White shimmering on edges and on 2D textures

I'm not too sure where to put this so I apologize if I'm in the wrong section.

What can I do to fix shimmering on edges and some 2D textures such as grass and the like? It's especially noticeable when I'm moving. No matter how much Anti Aliasing (or what kind) the shimmering still persists. The only thing that brings the shimmering down a bit is 4x SSAA but I end up getting 3 frames when using it and not many games actually support it.

I can't find much information on this. It seems to happen to some people but threads die before anything gets figure out.

I've re applied the latest driver and nothing. I'm not even sure of what the problem could be. I don't remember the shimmering being there but I could have easily not noticed it. I also ended up deleted almost all of the videos I had previous to the driver update so I have nothing to compare it to but a single very bad quality one.

TL;DR
Edges shimmer like crazy. What can I do?
Here's a small clip I whipped up that shows what I'm talking about: http://youtu.be/PJ90vXTOyYw (sorry for the bad quality on this one. Its was previously a webm)

Specs:
GTX 760
Fx-8320 (yeah, AMD, I know)
8gb ram

Maybe FXAA would help without the performance hit. I think you are seeing something that is normal for some game engines.

You are talking about the glow on the edges of the accordion bellows right? It can also be bad on stairs in some games.

Bump maps do not tend to get much filtering either and can lead to similar issues.

I've tried all different kinds of AA including FXAA. Nothing does it. The small shimmer of white is stays on pretty much everything.

I've been through countless threads with people having the same problem. The only straight answer that has been given was along the lines of "There is not fix. You have to learn to deal with it." And I refuse to believe its unfixable.

Well that one is much more noticeable.

Have you tried to play with the AF(Anisotropic filtering) settings(this may even include lowering the setting, but it would blur the textures more in the distance). Texture filtering is independent of AA.

The only other thing even remotely close to that would be something called z-fighting. It happens when 2 textures are on the same area and sort of try to show. It is quite ugly and happens from time to time in some games.
